PT Bank Syariah Nasional (Bank BSN) has integrated its Bale Syariah application with the Multi Trip Card (KMT) of PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI). The integration allows users to top up their KMT balance through the Bale Syariah mobile banking app.

The launch of the digital feature integration took place on Saturday (15/8/2026) at Sudirman Station, Jakarta. Bank BSN President Director Alex Sofjan Noor said the integration is intended to make it easier for Greater Jakarta Commuter Line (KRL) users to top up their KMT balance.

“The integration of Bale Syariah by BSN with KCI’s KMT is an important milestone for the national Islamic banking industry. We are proud to be the first mobile banking service to offer a KMT top-up feature directly in the palm of your hand,” Alex said in Jakarta on Saturday (15/8).

According to Alex, the service not only aims to introduce a new feature but also to connect banking services with users’ mobility needs. “But the most important thing for us is not merely being the first. What is far more important is whether this innovation truly makes people’s journeys easier. Financial needs and mobility needs can now be increasingly connected,” he explained.

The cooperation between Bank BSN and KCI previously began in March 2026 through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and the launch of the KMT Co-Brand.

At this launch, the two companies also introduced a special edition KMT Co-Brand for the 81st Indonesian Independence Day. “Commuter Line carries people every day to work, to pursue education, and to chase their hopes. The card may be small, but hopefully it becomes a symbol of a great spirit: to keep moving and keep advancing together with Indonesia,” Alex said.

Bank BSN also held a launch programme for the KMT top-up service through Bale Syariah at Sudirman Station and Bogor Station. Prospective customers who open a Bale Syariah account with an initial deposit in accordance with the terms can obtain the special Independence edition KMT along with a balance of Rp81,000.

The activity at Sudirman Station took place on Saturday (15/8/2026), while the one at Bogor Station is scheduled for Tuesday (18/8/2026). Bank BSN stated that it will continue to develop digital services for the public’s transaction needs.
