KRL Green Line Delayed Due to Fire Near Tenjo-Tigaraksa Station
Electric train (KRL) services on the Rangkasbitung-Tanah Abang route, the Green Line, experienced delays. The disruption was caused by a fire in a residential area near the railway line between Tenjo and Tigaraksa stations.
KAI Commuter, via its X account @CommuterLine on Friday (24/7/2026), stated: "We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the delay to the Rangkasbitung Commuter Line due to a fire in a residential area located near the railway line between Tenjo and Tigaraksa stations."
The firefighting operation is currently ongoing, with relevant personnel still working to extinguish the blaze. Green Line operations are on hold pending safe conditions before the track can be used again.
"To ensure public safety, Commuter Line operations at the location are temporarily suspended until the track is declared safe and passable again," the statement continued. KCI urged passengers to follow instructions from on-site officers and noted that information would be updated as the situation develops.
