KRL Disruption: Trans-Jakarta Adds Fleet on Affected Routes

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Trans-Jakarta) added buses to route D11 Terminal Depok–Cawang Sentral and route 4B Stasiun UI–Manggarai on Thursday (20/8). The additional fleet was deployed to help disperse passenger build-up caused by disruption to KRL Commuter Line services on the Bogor–Jakarta Kota relation along the Pasar Minggu–Manggarai section. KRL journeys on the Bogor–Jakarta Kota line were hampered this morning after a person was struck near Tebet Station. “Trans-Jakarta moved quickly to respond to the operational disruption on the Commuter Line Bogor–Jakarta Kota relation along the Pasar Minggu–Manggarai section,” said Ayu Wardhani, Head of the Public Relations and CSR Department at PT Transportasi Jakarta, in an official statement. Ayu said the company had also placed personnel on standby to ensure smooth operations and to help disperse customer queues. “This integration measure was taken to mobilise supporting fleets, help absorb customers, and provide alternative routes for affected members of the public,” she added.
