KRL Delayed Between Jurangmangu and Pondok Ranji Due to Overhead Power Supply Issue

JAKARTA - The journey of the electric rail train (KRL) experienced a disruption on Monday afternoon (4/5/2026). The disruption occurred in the overhead power supply (LAA) network on the line between Jurangmangu Station and Pondok Ranji Station. This information was shared via the official Instagram account of KAI Commuter, @commuterline, about 17 minutes before the announcement was quoted. “There is an operational disruption in the Overhead Power Supply between Jurangmangu-Pondok Ranji Stations, and it is currently being handled by the officers,” wrote KAI Commuter. “Commuter line journeys in the area are still waiting to pass,” the statement continued. Service users were urged to follow the directions of the officers and pay attention to the latest information regarding journey conditions. “We urge users to follow the directions and information from on-site officers. We apologise for the inconvenience,” wrote KAI Commuter. A disruption in the overhead power supply is one of the operational obstacles that can directly impact KRL journeys. If a disruption occurs in that network, train journeys are usually held up or delayed until the repair process is completed by the officers. As of now, the handling is still ongoing, and there is no further information regarding the time for normalising journeys on that line.
