KRL Bojong Gede-Citayam Route Experiences Disruption, PT KCI Adjusts Operating Pattern

This afternoon, the Jakarta-Bodetabek commuter rail (KRL) service on the Bojong Gede-Citayam route experienced operational disruptions. According to information released by the official KRL Instagram account @commuterline on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, the disruption was caused by a fault in the overhead catenary system (LAA) between Bojong Gede and Citayam stations, which was being addressed by personnel.

PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (PT KCI) implemented modifications to the operating pattern in response to the disruption. The company explained that repairs to the LAA infrastructure, which had been obstructed at the Bojong Gede-Citayam line, were being conducted by relevant personnel. The estimated repair duration was 60 minutes, beginning from 17:30 WIB.
