KRI Prabu Siliwangi-321 Docks at Tanjung Priok, Officially Handed Over to Indonesian Navy
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Republic of Indonesia Ship (KRI) Prabu Siliwangi-321 finally docked at Pier 107, Tanjung Priok Port, North Jakarta, on Thursday (26/3/2026) after completing a 44-day journey from Italy.
Based on observations by Kompas.com, the KRI Prabu Siliwangi was seen slowly approaching the pier.
The ship’s speed appeared to be carefully controlled, accompanied by the steady sound of engines breaking the port’s atmosphere.
On the deck, several crew members were already preparing.
Occasional brief instructions were heard to ensure the docking process proceeded smoothly.
As it drew closer to the pier, the ship’s movement slowed further.
The bow’s position was adjusted to align with the pier’s edge.
Mooring lines were then thrown towards the pier.
Officials on land quickly caught and secured them.
Commander of KRI Prabu Siliwangi-321, Colonel Laut (P) Kurniawan Koes Atmaja, then disembarked from the deck.
He stood at attention before TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto to report the ship’s readiness and the execution of its assigned duties.
After the report, the TNI Commander appeared to place a flower garland as a gesture of welcome.
The moment was brief yet solemn, witnessed by the high-ranking officials present at the location.
