Kremlin Confirms Putin to Meet Prabowo in Vladivostok on 3 September 2026

President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto will be the chief guest at the 11th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), scheduled to be held in Vladivostok, Russia, from 1 to 4 September 2026. The confirmation was conveyed directly by Kremlin Foreign Policy Adviser Yury Ushakov on Friday (28/8/2026). “On this occasion, Indonesian President Mr Subianto will be the chief guest at the 11th Eastern Economic Forum,” Ushakov told reporters, as reported by Sputnik. He said Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Prabowo on the sidelines of the economic forum, specifically on 3 September 2026. Ushakov explained that the EEF plenary session will also be attended by Mongolian Prime Minister Nyam-Osoryn Uchral, Myanmar Vice President Nyo Saw, and Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang.
