Kredivo Strengthens Social Contribution During Ramadan, Kredit Pintar Supports Al Mahbub Prayer Hall Development
Jakarta – In demonstrating its commitment towards recognising the role of mosques and prayer halls as centres for worship and community social activities, Kredit Pintar has distributed assistance for the construction of the Al Mahbub Prayer Hall and Qur’an Council under the auspices of the Roudhotul Qurro Al-Achyadiyah Foundation valued at IDR 100 million, located at Jalan Winong Dalam No. 25, Sudimara Timur, Ciledug, Tangerang City, Banten, on Monday, 16 March 2026.
For Muslims, mosques have historically served as gathering spaces for strengthening ties, enhancing religious knowledge, and fostering various social activities with broad impacts on community welfare. Additionally, mosques play a role in supporting the strengthening of the Islamic community’s economy through various Islamic economic activities, including the management of alms (zakat), voluntary donations (infak), and charitable giving (sedekah), the empowerment of small businesses, and community-based economic activities that help increase the independence and welfare of surrounding communities.
Kredit Pintar’s President Director, Ronny Kasim, stated in his remarks that through support for the construction of the Al Mahbub Prayer Hall and Qur’an Council, “Kredit Pintar hopes this worship facility can be utilised optimally by the community for various positive activities, ranging from religious study circles, Qur’anic education for children and teenagers, to community social activities.”
Ronny further emphasised that mosques and prayer halls play a strategic role in improving the quality of life for the Islamic community. Beyond serving as places of worship, their existence can also serve as centres for educational development, social activities, and the strengthening of community economics. “We hope this support can help the community in developing the Al Mahbub Prayer Hall and Qur’an Council so that its benefits can be felt widely,” he said.
Construction of the Al Mahbub Prayer Hall and Qur’an Council began in June 2025 with a building area of 104 square metres, capable of accommodating approximately 200 worshippers. The Chairman of the Roudhotul Qurro Al-Achyadiyah Foundation, Ubaidullah, expressed appreciation and gratitude for the support provided by Kredit Pintar towards the construction of the Al Mahbub Prayer Hall and Qur’an Council.
“We extend our thanks and appreciation to Kredit Pintar for the support given towards the construction of the Al Mahbub Prayer Hall and Qur’an Council. This assistance represents a meaningful expression of concern for us and the surrounding community in efforts to provide worship facilities and spaces for community guidance that are more adequate and beneficial,” said Ubaidullah.
He added that the existence of prayer halls and Qur’an councils serves not only as places of worship, but also as centres for Qur’anic learning, the strengthening of religious values, and a forum for various community social and educational activities.
“Through this development, we hope the Al Mahbub Prayer Hall and Qur’an Council can become a centre of religious activities capable of nurturing Qur’anic generations, strengthening brotherhood amongst the community, and providing positive contributions in the fields of social welfare, education, and community empowerment,” he added.
