Kranggan toll gate opened

JAKARTA (JP): The state-owned highway corporation, PT Jasa Marga, has opened its new access gate to the Jagorawi toll road at Kranggan near Cibinong.

The Kranggan toll gate at the Gunung Putri flyover, about 30 kilometers from Jakarta, was designed to reduce traffic congestion heading from Jakarta to Kranggan and Cibinong, said spokesman David Wijayatno.

Toll road users from Jakarta heading to the two towns previously had to queue at the Cibinong tollgate, David was quoted by Antara as saying.

"We hope the regular long line of vehicles at the exit tollgate at Cibinong in the evening will no longer happen thanks to the opening of the new Kranggan tollgate," he said. (bsr)
