KPU reopens IT tender
JAKARTA: The General Elections Commission (KPU) decided on Thursday that it would repeat the tender process to procure information technology (IT) infrastructure.
A member of KPU's IT tender selection team Dalail said the IT tender should be re-initiated as the final four firms and consortium earlier shortlisted could not agree to financial terms.
The four chosen out of 41 firms that passed the screening by KPU were PT Asaba Computer Center that offered to do the contract for Rp 193.96 billion, PT Pernadi Wiraperkasa Rp 142.65 billion, a consortium of PT Berca Hardaya Perkasa, PT Indosat Mega Media and PT Citra Tirza Astari Jaya Rp 185.67 billion and the consortium of PT Swadharma Duta Data and PT Transmarco Data Systems (Rp 192.30 billion).
Before the decision to recommence the tender, KPU delayed the announcement of the winner of the IT infrastructure tender.
The new tender will start on Friday and all existing contestants of the tender could participate the tender, according to Dalail. --JP
