KPPN Nabire Distributes THR of Rp44.03 Billion to 15,873 Civil Servants
Nabire (ANTARA) - The Nabire State Treasury Service Office (KPPN Nabire) has disbursed the 2024 Idul Fitri Allowance (THR) with a total value of Rp44.03 billion to 15,873 recipients in the Central Papua region.
Acting Head of the Fund Disbursement and Work Unit Management Section at KPPN Nabire, Rahmat Saleh, stated in Nabire on Thursday that the thousands of recipients consist of civil servants (ASN) from 114 work units and vertical agencies, TNI-Polri members, and local government employees.
“The THR disbursement has reached 100 percent before Lebaran, with a total of Rp44.03 billion for 15,873 recipients,” he said.
He explained that there are six local governments under the jurisdiction of KPPN Nabire, namely the Central Papua Provincial Government and five regencies: Nabire, Paniai, Dogiyai, Intan Jaya, and Deiyai.
However, for civil servants within local governments, the disbursement mechanism is carried out through transfers to the respective regional treasuries.
“KPPN disburses in lump sums through the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) because THR is part of the regional transfer funds (TKD) from the state budget (APBN),” he said.
He added that the process of disbursing THR to each civil servant in the regions is entirely the authority of the local governments in accordance with applicable regulations.
Rahmat hopes that this timely THR disbursement can help increase community purchasing power and support the circulation of the regional economy ahead of Idul Fitri Day.
