KPK Uncovers Flow of Mercedes-Benz Car to Bengkulu Councillor Vinna Ledy — Who Is the Giver?
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has examined several witnesses as part of an expanded investigation into alleged bribery within the Rejang Lebong Regency Government, which is now targeting the Bengkulu city area.
Among those summoned were Bengkulu City Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) Speaker Herimanto and Deputy Speaker I Rahmad, along with private individuals Rani Soraya (RNS) and Irwan Arifin (IRW).
However, according to the attendance list, only Rani Soraya and Irwan Arifin answered the summons, while the two DPRD officials failed to appear.
KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said that in examining the private-sector witnesses, investigators were probing the giving of a car by an individual named Eno Bowo Susilo (EBS) to Vinna Ledy Anggraheni (VLA), a member of the Bengkulu City DPRD.
The vehicle in question is a Mercedes-Benz sedan registered under the name Soraya.
“Mr EBS purchased the four-wheeled vehicle, which was then given to VLA. The car was registered under RNS’s name,” Budi said on Monday, 7 September 2026.
Budi added that investigators would delve into the connection between Vinna and Eno Bowo, with their relationship to be examined further through subsequent witness questioning.
“Certainly this will become material for the investigation in the examination of other witnesses,” he explained.
As for the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Bengkulu City DPRD, investigators will reschedule their summonses.
For context, the Bengkulu case is an extension of the investigation that ensnared suspended Rejang Lebong Regent M Fikri Thobari.
In Bengkulu, the KPK is targeting a waste processing project.
