KPK to Schedule Examination of BPK Member Bobby Rizaldi in Muara Enim Audit Bribery Case
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has announced it will schedule an examination for Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi, a member of the House of Representatives (DPR) Commission V and former member of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). The questioning is part of an ongoing investigation into alleged bribery related to the conditioning of a BPK audit report for Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra. KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that the examination would be scheduled following a search of Bobby’s residence, during which investigators seized a number of electronic items as evidence. The case initially came to light through a sting operation on 7-8 June 2026, which resulted in the arrest of 10 individuals, including the then Regent of Muara Enim, Edison. A subsequent operation on 10 June 2026 led to the arrest of five BPK civil servants. The KPK has named multiple suspects, including Edison, a local education official, private sector executives, and a BPK auditor who served as the audit team leader for the South Sumatra office.
