Money flowing from the corruption case that implicated Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq has also flowed to her husband and child. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will summon Fadia’s husband and child. ‘Of course, investigators will summon the husband and child, both in relation to alleged receipt of the funds and the management of PT RNB,’ KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo told reporters on Friday 6 March 2026.

Fadia’s husband, Mukhtaruddin Ashraff Abu, who is also a member of Commission X of the DPR RI, founded a company named PT Raja Nusantara Berjaya with their son, Muhammad Sabiq Ashraff, who is also a member of Pekalongan’s DPRD. The company operates in the field of service provision and actively serves as a vendor to the Pekalongan Regency Government.

Ashraff serves as Commissioner of PT RNB, while Sabiq was director from 2022-2024. Fadia replaced Sabiq as director with Rul Bayatun, who is her trusted confidant.

Fadia instructed regional apparatus to award outsourcing service tenders to her family’s company. The family business then received Rp46 billion from 2023 to 2026, which was subsequently distributed.

The breakdown is as follows:

  • Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq received Rp5.5 billion;

  • Fadia’s husband, Ashraff, Rp1.1 billion;

  • Director of PT RNB, Rul Bayatun, Rp2.3 billion;

  • Fadia’s son, Sabiq, Rp4.6 billion;

  • Fadia’s daughter, Mehnaz Na, Rp2.5 billion;

  • Cash withdrawals totalling Rp3 billion were also made.

Fadia has now been named a suspect and is being detained by the KPK. She is charged under Article 12(h) and Article 12(B) of the Law on the Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 127(1) of the Indonesian Penal Code, No. 1 of 2023.
