KPK to Examine BPK Member Bobby Rizaldi in Muara Enim Bribery Case

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will schedule an examination of Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi, Member V of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) of the Republic of Indonesia. The examination is being carried out as part of the investigation into an alleged bribery case concerning the results of a BPK audit at the Muara Enim Regency Government, South Sumatra.

KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi was being summoned to explore the involvement of the parties concerned in the case.

“The investigators will certainly schedule an examination of the person concerned and other related parties,” Budi said in Jakarta on Wednesday (15 July 2026).

He explained that the summons for Bobby Rizaldi was a follow-up to a search carried out by KPK investigators on Tuesday (14 July). During the search, the investigative team secured and seized a number of electronic items of evidence strongly suspected to be connected to the case.

Budi explained that examining Bobby is necessary to clarify the findings obtained from the search location. This is important to strengthen the construction of the bribery case currently being handled by the anti-corruption agency.

The case originated from a series of sting operations (OTT) conducted by the KPK in early June 2026. The KPK is currently investigating the role of BPK Member V Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi in the alleged audit-rigging bribery case at the Muara Enim Regency Government.

The KPK arrested ten people in the sting operation on 7-8 June 2026. Five were arrested in Jakarta and five others in South Sumatra.
