KPK to Auction Noel's Ducati Scrambler and Other Luxury Assets from Manpower Ministry Case
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will auction a number of seized assets from the bribery and gratuity case related to the processing of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) certification at Indonesia’s Ministry of Manpower. Among the items is a Ducati Scrambler sports motorcycle belonging to former Deputy Minister of Manpower Immanuel Ebenezer. The vehicle is currently stored at the KPK’s Storage House for Confiscated Objects and Seized Assets (Rupbasan) in Cawang, East Jakarta. In addition to the Ducati Scrambler, a black Baic car belonging to Noel will also be auctioned. Seized assets from ten other convicts in the same case will also be auctioned, including motorcycles, cars, luxury bags, watches, belts, jewellery, glasses, precious metal pieces, and foreign currency. Director of Asset Tracking, Evidence Management, and Execution (Labuksi) at the KPK, Mungki Hadipratikto, stated that the auction will be held in conjunction with the commemoration of World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) this coming December. “We will carry it out simultaneously on 9 December 2026 as the peak of the Hakordia commemoration,” Mungki said at the KPK Rupbasan in Cawang, East Jakarta, on Wednesday (24/6). Noel was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison, a fine of Rp200 million subsidiary to 90 days of confinement, and a replacement payment of Rp3,435,000,000 subsidiary to 1 year in prison by the panel of judges at the Corruption Court (Tipikor) at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN). Today, Noel along with ten other convicts were also transferred by the KPK to Sukamiskin Penitentiary (Lapas) in Bandung, West Java. The complete details of the verdicts for the defendants (now convicts) in this case are as follows: 1. Former Deputy Minister of Manpower Immanuel Ebenezer, sentenced to 4.5 years in prison, a fine of Rp200 million subsidiary to 90 days of confinement, and a replacement payment of Rp3,435,000,000 subsidiary to 1 year in prison. 2. Irvian Bobby Mahendro, Commitment Making Officer (PPK) at the Directorate General of Labour Inspection and K3, also known as the ‘Sultan of the Manpower Ministry’, sentenced to 6 years in prison, a fine of Rp200 million subsidiary to 90 days of confinement, and a replacement payment of Rp36.04 billion subsidiary to 3 years of confinement. 3. Fahrurozi, Director General of Labour Inspection and K3 as of March 2025, sentenced to 4 years in prison, a fine of Rp200 million subsidiary to 90 days of confinement, and a replacement payment of Rp35 million subsidiary to 1 year of confinement. 4. Hery Sutanto, Director of Institutional Development from 2021 to February 2025, sentenced to 6.5 years in prison, a fine of Rp200 million subsidiary to 90 days of confinement, and a replacement payment of Rp7,591,120,000 subsidiary to 2 years of confinement. 5. Subhan, Sub-coordinator of Occupational Safety at the Directorate of K3 Development from 2020 to 2025, sentenced to 4.5 years in prison, a fine of Rp200 million subsidiary to 90 days of confinement, and a replacement payment of Rp1,948,722,222 subsidiary to 1 year of confinement. 6. Gerry Aditya Herwanto Putra, Coordinator of the Occupational Safety Testing and Competency Evaluation Division in 2022, sentenced to 4.5 years in prison, a fine of Rp200 million subsidiary to 90 days of confinement, and a replacement payment of Rp828,500,000 subsidiary to 1 year. 7. Sekarsari Kartika Putri, Sub-coordinator of the K3 Institutional Development Division at the Directorate General of Labour Inspection and K3, sentenced to 4.5 years in prison. 8. Anitasari Kusumawati, Sub-coordinator of Partnership and Occupational Health Personnel in 2020, sentenced to 4.5 years in prison, a fine of Rp200 million subsidiary to 90 days of confinement, and a replacement payment of Rp1,350,000,000 subsidiary to 1 year of confinement. 9. Supriadi, Junior Labour Inspector serving as Sub-coordinator of the K3 Personnel Empowerment Division at the Directorate General of Labour Inspection and K3, sentenced to 4.5 years in prison, a fine of Rp200 million subsidiary to 90 days of confinement, and a replacement payment of Rp3,000,000,000 subsidiary to 1 year of confinement. 10. Temurila, a businessman from PT KEM, sentenced to 1.5 years in prison and a fine of Rp200 million subsidiary to 90 days of confinement. 11. Miki Mahfud, a businessman from PT KEM, sentenced to 1.5 years in prison and a fine of Rp200 million subsidiary to 90 days of confinement.
