KPK Takes 12 Officials to Surabaya Following Examination in Tulungagung Regent Raid
Tulungagung, East Java (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has taken 12 officials from the Tulungagung Regency Government in East Java to Surabaya for further examination related to the raid (OTT) against Tulungagung Regent Gatut Sunu Wibowo. The group departed from Tulungagung Police Headquarters on Saturday morning at around 06:33 WIB, using a Harapan Jaya bus, escorted by police officers. Previously, dozens of Tulungagung Regency officials underwent examination by KPK investigators for approximately 12 hours starting from Friday (10/4) evening. Meanwhile, several other officials who were examined were not taken to Surabaya and have been released after initial questioning. The raid against the Tulungagung Regent was carried out by the KPK on Friday (10/4), followed by examinations of several officials in the local government environment. In addition to the examinations, KPK investigators also conducted searches at the Tulungagung Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Office. To date, the KPK has not provided an official detailed statement regarding the case construction or the parties designated as suspects in the case. The officials include: 1.
