KPK Suspects Tulungagung Regent of Rigging Winners in Cleaning and Security Services Procurement

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects Tulungagung Regent Gatut Sunu Wibowo of rigging winners in the procurement of cleaning and security services within the East Java regency’s government environment. “GSW is suspected of arranging for certain contractors to win the procurement of cleaning services (cleaning) and security (security) in the organisational units of Tulungagung Regency,” said KPK’s Deputy for Enforcement and Execution, Asep Guntur Rahayu, at the KPK’s Red and White Building in Jakarta on Saturday evening. Additionally, KPK also suspects Gatut Sunu of rigging winners in the procurement of medical equipment at the regional public hospital (RSUD). Previously, KPK conducted a sting operation (OTT) in the Tulungagung area, East Java, on 10 April 2026. In that operation, KPK secured 18 people, including Gatut Sunu Wibowo and his younger brother, who is also a member of the Tulungagung DPRD, Jatmiko Dwijo Saputro. On the same day, KPK designated Gatut Sunu Wibowo and his aide Dwi Yoga Ambal as suspects in the alleged extortion and other unlawful receipt case within the Tulungagung Regency Government for the 2025–2026 fiscal year.
