Jakarta – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that the Pemuda Pancasila organisation received money each month in a hierarchical manner related to the Rita Widyasari case.

“This is hierarchical in nature because the organisation has a structure. One of its branches is in East Kalimantan, where Rita’s company operates,” said Asep Guntur Rahayu, the KPK’s Deputy for Enforcement and Execution, in a statement confirmed in Jakarta on Thursday.

For this reason, Asep said the KPK is still tracing the flow of money in the alleged gratification case related to coal production metrics in the Kutai Kartanegara region.

“We are investigating where the money flow from these mining metric tons goes. One destination is where (Pemuda Pancasila) receives it in a hierarchical manner,” he said.

Previously, on 28 September 2017, the KPK named Rita Widyasari, President Director of PT Sawit Golden Prima; Hery Susanto Gun, Commissioner of PT Media Bangun Bersama; and Khairudin as suspects in an alleged gratification case in the Kutai Kartanegara region of East Kalimantan.

On 16 January 2018, the KPK named Rita Widyasari and Khairudin as suspects in alleged money laundering offences.

On 6 June 2024, the KPK revealed it had seized 91 vehicles and various other economically valuable items, five plots of land with a total area of thousands of square metres, and 30 luxury watches of various brands during the investigation into the case.

On 19 February 2025, the KPK revealed that Rita Widyasari was also suspected of receiving millions of US dollars related to coal mining, specifically approximately 5 US dollars per metric ton of coal.

On 19 February 2026, the KPK announced three corporations as suspects in the alleged gratification case related to coal production metrics in Kutai Kartanegara. They are PT Sinar Kumala Naga (SKN), PT Alamjaya Barapratama (ABP), and PT Bara Kumala Sakti (BKS).

On 10 March 2026, the KPK questioned Japto Soerjosoemarno, Chairman of the National Leadership Council of Pemuda Pancasila, regarding security services provided by the mining company in the Rita Widyasari case.
