KPK Suspects Jampidsus Febrie's Sentul House Registered Under Someone Else's Name

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that a house in Sentul, Bogor Regency, West Java — acknowledged by the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah as his private residence — is registered under another person’s name.

“The individual concerned (Febrie, ed.) is suspected of using a nominee who has no family relationship,” said KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring Aminudin to journalists in Jakarta on Friday.

Consequently, Aminudin said, the house does not appear in Febrie’s state officials’ wealth report (LHKPN).

Earlier, Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah on Friday issued a statement regarding the discovery of cash and gold bars at a house in Sentul, which was searched by the National Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor Polri).

At a press conference at the Jampidsus building in Jakarta on Friday, Febrie acknowledged that the house was his private residence.

“Regarding the Sentul house, it is indeed the Jampidsus’s private residence and has been for a long time. That can be seen from how the ownership process began,” said Febrie.

“As for the money and gold, there are owners, there were activities, and there are people who received those activities — that can also be asked about. There are also several building works that can be checked. We are confident everything can be properly accounted for, but of course not through a forum like this — through the appropriate legal procedures,” he said.

He made the statement after a joint team from Kortastipidkor Polri and the Metro Jaya Regional Police searched a house in the Sentul area on 9 July 2026.
