KPK suspects Bengkulu City Council member Vinna Ledy of receiving PUPR project funds
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradancy Commission (KPK) suspects Bengkulu City Council member Vinna Ledy Anggraheni of receiving money from projects managed by the Bengkulu City Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (PUPR).
“There are allegations of receiving money related to existing projects in Bengkulu City,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK Red and White Building, Jakarta, on Tuesday.
Budi explained that the KPK is currently deepening its investigation into the connection between these PUPR projects and Vinna Ledy’s status as a legislator.
Furthermore, he stated that the KPK suspects Vinna Ledy also received funds from private parties outside of the Bengkulu City PUPR projects.
“In addition to receiving a certain amount of money from projects carried out by the PUPR, there are also allegations of receiving funds from other private entities,” he said.
Consequently, the KPK is investigating the motives or the initiative behind these private parties providing funds to Vinna Ledy.
This case is an expansion of the KPK’s sting operation (OTT) regarding alleged bribery in projects within the Rejang Lebong Regency Government, Bengkulu.
In that sting operation, the KPK named five individuals as suspects on 11 March 2026, including the Regent of Rejang Lebong, Muhammad Fikri Thobari.
The KPK subsequently announced the expansion of the investigation on 20 July 2026, although no new suspects had been named by that date.
On 26 July 2026, the KPK raided several locations in Bengkulu City, including the offices and residences of private parties involved in medical equipment and waste management.
Investigators also searched the residence of the Head of the Bengkulu City Public Works and Spatial Planning Office, Noprisman.
From these searches, the KPK seized Rp4 billion in cash found at Noprisman’s house.
The KPK stated that the raids were related to the investigation of alleged corruption involving state officials or authorities within the Bengkulu City Government.
Subsequently, the KPK seized a vehicle belonging to Vinna Ledy in South Jakarta on 10 August 2026. The KPK also seized a house owned by Vinna Ledy located in South Jakarta on 31 August 2026.
