The KPK has summoned village heads, a former member of the DPRD, and members of the campaign team of Pati Regent Sudewo as witnesses in the alleged extortion case involving the filling of village official positions.

“The KPK has scheduled examinations of witnesses in the alleged corruption case involving extortion within the Pati Regency Government,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters on Wednesday (February 25, 2026).

Budi said the examinations were conducted at the Semarang City Police Office. The following is a list of witnesses summoned:

  1. Edy Susanto as the Village Head of Perdopo

  2. Sunarwi as the former Chairman of the Pati DPRD/Pati Regent’s Campaign Team

  3. Manurung as a member of the Supervisory Board of RSUD Suwonso Pati/Pati Regent’s Campaign Team

  4. Syaiful Arifin as an entrepreneur/former Vice Regent of Pati

  5. Agus Ebenezer as an entrepreneur/Pati Regent’s Campaign Team

  6. Aji Sudarmaji as an entrepreneur/former member of the Pati DPRD/Pati Regent’s Campaign Team

  7. Tono as an entrepreneur/Pati Regent’s Campaign Team

  8. Susilo as the Village Head of Gajihan

  9. Tafaquri as the Village Head of Pundenrejo

  10. Suyanto as the Village Head of Gesegan

  11. Wiwit Edi as the Village Head of Mojo

  12. Yuniatin as the Village Head of Dororejo

  13. Dwi Tantri as the Head of Batursari Village.

In this case, the KPK has named four suspects, one of whom is Pati Regent Sudewo. The KPK suspects Sudewo of charging IDR 125-150 million to candidates for village official positions.

This tariff was then increased by his subordinates to IDR 165-225 million for each candidate for village official positions. The KPK has confiscated a total of IDR 2.6 billion related to this case.

Sudewo also formed a team called ‘Team 8’, which consisted of members of Sudewo’s campaign team.

The identities of the four suspects in the extortion case involving candidates for village official positions in Pati are:

  • Abdul Suyono as the Village Head of Karangrowo, Jakenan District

  • Sumarjiono as the Village Head of Arumanis, Jaken District

  • Karjan as the Village Head of Sukorukun, Jaken District.
