Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned two suspects in an alleged corruption case concerning the distribution of rice social assistance for beneficiaries of the Family Hope Programme (PKH). The suspects are Edi Suharto (ES) and Kanisius Jerry Tengker (KJT), who are being examined as witnesses.

“The KPK has scheduled the examination of witnesses at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building, Jakarta, namely ES, a former Expert Staff to the Minister of Social Affairs, and KJT, the former President Director of PT Dosni Roha Logistik or DNR Logistics for the 2018-2022 period,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Tuesday.

In addition to the two, the KPK also summoned six other witnesses. They are MAL, the President Director of PT Dalahas Angkutan Servis; ANS, a private party; MS, a representative of PT Javier Mandiri Transport; CS and IS, civil servants from the Ministry of Social Affairs; and HER, the Operational Director of DNR Logistics.

This case is an expansion of an investigation into alleged corruption in the distribution of rice social assistance for PKH beneficiary families at the Ministry of Social Affairs during the 2020-2021 period. The KPK announced the development of the investigation on 19 August 2025, naming three individuals and two corporations as suspects. The case is suspected of causing state losses of up to Rp200 billion.

In addition, PT Dosni Roha Logistik and DNR Logistics have also been named as corporate suspects in the case.
