KPK summons two Ministry of Transportation civil servants in four-port corruption case
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned two civil servants (ASN) from the Ministry of Transportation as witnesses in the alleged bribery case for dredging navigation channels at four ports.
“The examination took place at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building involving SIG and AK as Ministry of Transportation ASN,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Thursday.
Budi further stated that the KPK also summoned AK as the owner of PT Adhiguna Keruktama, who had served as a commissioner of the company from 2013 to 2017.
Previously, on 27 June 2024, the KPK announced the start of an investigation into the alleged corruption case for dredging navigation channel projects at four ports and subsequently named nine individuals as suspects in the case.
The alleged criminal corruption case occurred in the following work packages:
Dredging navigation channel work package at Tanjung Emas Port, Central Java, for fiscal years 2015, 2016, and 2017,
Dredging navigation channel work package at Samarinda Port, East Kalimantan, for fiscal years 2015 and 2016,
Dredging navigation channel work package at Benoa Port, Bali, for fiscal years 2014, 2015, and 2016,
Dredging navigation channel work package at Pulang Pisau Port, South Kalimantan, for fiscal years 2013 and 2016.
