KPK summons two former Depok District Court officials as witnesses in bribery case

Jakarta — The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned two former officials from Depok District Court (PN Depok) as witnesses in a bribery case concerning land dispute handling in Tapos District, West Java.

“Examinations took place at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building for DPW and RVL, who are civil servants,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Monday.

According to gathered information, DPW previously served as Civil Affairs Junior Clerk at Depok District Court, while RVL held the position of Court Clerk at Depok District Court. Both are now assigned to other courts.

Budi added that the KPK also summoned a civil servant identified as ISF and a private sector individual as OUW as witnesses in the case. ISF currently holds the position of Case Analyst at Depok District Court.

Previously, on 5 February 2026, the KPK conducted a sting operation in Depok City related to alleged corruption in land dispute case handling.

The following day, the KPK revealed it had arrested seven individuals, including the Chief and Deputy Chief of Depok District Court, a Depok District Court employee, a director and three employees of PT Karabha Digdaya, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Finance.

The KPK later designated five people as suspects in the bribery case involving a 6,500 square metre land dispute in Tapos District.

They are: Depok District Court Chief I Wayan Eka Mariarta, Deputy Chief Bambang Setyawan, Depok District Court bailiff Yohansyah Maruanaya, PT Karabha Digdaya CEO Trisnadi Yulrisman, and Head of Corporate Legal for PT Karabha Digdaya Berliana Tri Kusuma.

In addition to the bribery case, the KPK named Bambang as a suspect for alleged gratification after obtaining data from the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (PPATK) regarding a Rp2.5 billion receipt from PT Daha Mulia Valasindo.
