KPK summons treasurer of KONI Madiun, Rahma Noviarini, in the Maidi case
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned the treasurer of the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) of Madiun City, who is also the chair of the Madiun City All-Indonesia Badminton Association (PBSI), Rahma Noviarini (RN), as a witness in the alleged corruption case involving inactive Mayor of Madiun, Maidi (MD).
“The examination will take place at the State Treasury Service Office (KPPN) of Madiun City, East Java, with RN as the treasurer of KONI Madiun City,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta, Thursday.
In addition, Budi said that the KPK had also summoned other witnesses, including US as the deputy chairman of the Bhakti Husada Mulia Madiun Health Sciences Foundation, SK as the director of CV Mutiara Agung, RRN as the head of the Asset Administration Sub-division at the Madiun City Finance and Asset Agency, HPI as a private individual, and AP as a civil servant from the Madiun City Public Works and Spatial Planning Department.
Previously, on January 19, 2026, the KPK conducted a sting operation (OTT) against Maidi.
On the same date, the KPK revealed that the OTT against Maidi was related to project rewards and corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds in Madiun City.
On January 20, 2026, the KPK announced that three people had been named as suspects after the OTT, namely the Mayor of Madiun, Maidi (MD), Rochim Ruhdiyanto (RR) as Maidi’s confidant, and the Head of the Madiun City Public Works and Spatial Planning Department, Thariq Megah (TM).
The KPK also announced that there were two clusters in the alleged extortion case involving the modus operandi of project rewards and CSR funds, as well as other receipts or gratuities within the Madiun City Government.
The first is the alleged extortion involving suspects Maidi and Rochim Ruhdiyanto. The second is the alleged receipt of gratuities involving suspects Maidi and Thariq Megah.
