KPK Summons Three PT AMGM Officials in West Lombok Regent Corruption Case
The Corruption Eradasting Commission (KPK) has summoned three officials from PT Air Minum Giri Menang (Perseroda), known as AMGM, to be examined as witnesses in the alleged corruption case involving the inactive Regent of West Lombok, Lalu Ahmad Zaini.
KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated in Jakarta on Thursday that the three witnesses are the Acting President Director of PT AMGM, Aini Kurniati, along with Commissioners Effendi Eko Saswito and Suhaimi Syamsuri.
“The KPK has scheduled the examination of witnesses at the KPK Merah Putih Building, Jakarta, namely AIN as the General Director of PT AMGM, as well as EFN and SUH as Commissioners of PT AMGM,” said Budi.
In addition to these three officials, the KPK has also summoned a PT AMGM employee, identified by the initials DEW, and a private individual, identified as JAH, to be questioned as witnesses in the same case.
Previously, on Monday (7/9), the KPK summoned the Chairman of the West Lombok Regency General Election Commission, Lalu Rudi Iskandar, along with a PT AMGM employee (LR), the Head of General Affairs of the West Lombok Regional Secretariat (HB), NPU from PT Meconel Sistim Instrument, and a representative from LB Auto Sunter.
Subsequently, on Wednesday (9/9), the KPK interrogated three PT AMGM employees, namely RMF, YW, and RTP. The examinations aimed to delve into allegations regarding bribes provided by PT Meconel Sistim Instrument to Lalu Ahmad Zaini.
The case originated when the KPK conducted a sting operation against Lalu Ahmad Zaini on 20 July 2026.
A day later, the KPK named Lalu Ahmad Zaini and the President Director of PT AMGM, Sudirman, as suspects in a suspected conflict of interest regarding the procurement of goods and services.
In this case, the KPK suspects that Lalu Ahmad Zaini received up to Rp12.4 billion from corrupt practices. This sum is alleged to consist of Rp10.8 billion arising from conflicts of interest in procurement, and Rp1.6 billion in the form of bribes after PT Meconel Sistim Instrument won projects within the West Lombok Regency Government.
