KPK summons six witnesses in Sidoarjo related to K3 Ministry of Manpower case
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned six witnesses in Sidoarjo, East Java, in connection with the investigation into the alleged extortion case regarding the processing of occupational safety and health (K3) certificates within the Ministry of Manpower.
“The examination of the six witnesses took place at the Sidoarjo Police Resort, East Java,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Budi stated that the six witnesses are RP, as the President Director of PT GSI Selamat Indonesia; DF, an employee of GSI Selamat Indonesia; MNS, the President Director of PT Esa Solusi Mandiri; SR and YR, employees of Esa Solusi Mandiri; and MS, a private sector employee.
The case originated from a sting operation (OTT) conducted by the KPK.
On 22 August 2025, the KPK designated Immanuel Ebenezer, the Deputy Minister of Manpower, along with ten others, as suspects in the alleged extortion case related to the processing of K3 certificates within the Ministry of Manpower.

Director of Institutional Development at the Ministry of Manpower from 2021-February 2025, Hery Sutanto (HS)

Subsequently, on 11 December 2025, the KPK announced three new suspects in the case. They are former Head of Public Relations Bureau at the Ministry of Manpower, Sunardi Manampiar Sinaga (SMS); former Secretary of the Directorate General of Binwasnaker and K3 at the Ministry of Manpower, Chairul Fadhly Harahap (CFH); and former Director General of Binwasnaker and K3 at the Ministry of Manpower, Haiyani Rumondang (HR).
