KPK Summons Seven Pekalongan Regency ASN in Fadia Arafiq Corruption Case
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned seven civil servants (ASN) from the Pekalongan Regency Government in Central Java as witnesses in the investigation into the alleged corruption case ensnaring inactive Regent Fadia Arafiq.
“The examination of SW, MAG, WK, AP, KHD, EH, and EB, who are ASN from Pekalongan Regency,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Budi stated that the examination of the seven ASN will be conducted at the Pekalongan City Police Resort in Pekalongan City, Central Java.
Previously, on 3 March 2026, the KPK arrested Fadia Arafiq along with her aide and a trusted associate in the Semarang area, Central Java. In addition, the KPK secured 11 other individuals in Pekalongan, Central Java. The series of arrests was part of the KPK’s hand-catch operation (OTT).
The KPK stated that Fadia Arafiq is suspected of involvement in a conflict of interest because her family’s company, PT Raja Nusantara Berjaya (RNB), won several procurement packages within the Pekalongan Regency Government.
From those procurement contracts, Fadia Arafiq and her family are suspected of receiving around Rp19 billion. The breakdown includes Rp13.7 billion allegedly used for Fadia Arafiq and her family’s interests, Rp2.3 billion distributed to the Director of PT RNB, Rul Bayatun, and around Rp3 billion in cash withdrawals that are still being investigated further by investigators.
