KPK summons Kuansing JPTP selection committee and former BKPP head

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned the 2025 Open Selection Committee for High-Ranking Pratama Positions (Pansel JPTP) of the Kuantan Singingi Regency Government, along with former Head of the Personnel, Education, and Training Agency (BKPP) of Kuansing, Mardansyah (MDS), for examination as witnesses.

“The KPK has scheduled witness examinations at the Representative Office of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency of Riau Province,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Budi further stated that the summoned Kuansing Regency Government JPTP selection committee comprises Committee Chairperson with initials IL, Committee Secretary with initials AHH, and committee members with initials LN, MM, and AZM.

They were summoned for the investigation of an alleged bribery case involving non-active Kuansing Regent Suhardiman Amby.

Previously, the KPK conducted a sting operation (OTT) in Kuantan Singingi Regency and Jakarta on 29 June 2026.

On 1 July 2026, the KPK named Kuansing Regent Suhardiman Amby, Kuansing Regional Secretary Zulkarnain, and President Director of PT Mitra Ideal Consultant Ardiles as suspects in an alleged bribery case related to the buying and selling of positions within the Kuantan Singingi Regency Government.

In addition to the alleged bribery, the KPK is investigating alleged gratuities related to the processing of forest area release permits.
