KPK Summons Kemnaker Secretary-General as Witness in K3 Certification Extortion Case
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled an examination of Cris Kuntadi, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker), as a witness. The examination is related to the alleged extortion case involving K3 certification at the Kemnaker.
“The KPK has scheduled an examination of a witness in connection with the alleged corruption (tindak pidana korupsi) related to extortion in the processing of K3 certification at the Ministry of Manpower,” said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters on Wednesday (25 February 2026).
Budi stated that the KPK will examine a total of four people today. They are Cris Kuntadi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Manpower; Daafi Armanda, Head of the Building Construction Section of the Directorate of PNK3 at the Kemnaker; Dayoena Ivon Muriono, a PPPK (Government Contract Worker) in the General Bureau of the Kemnaker’s Secretariat-General; and a leader of SAV Money Changer.
“The examination will be conducted at the KPK’s Merah Putih building,” he explained.
However, Budi has not yet explained the details of the questions that will be put to the witnesses.
The case of extortion in the processing of K3 certification at the Kemnaker has been ongoing since 2019. The processing fee, which should have been only Rp 275,000, has increased to Rp 6 million.
The KPK stated that, from the difference between the fees paid by those processing the K3 certificates and the actual cost, the money flowed to several parties. The total amount is Rp 81 billion. Of the Rp 81 billion, Rp 69 billion went to the suspect, Irvian.
In this case, Noel, as Deputy Minister of Manpower, received a share of the extortion amounting to Rp 3 billion. In addition to the Rp 3 billion, Noel also received a Ducati motorcycle.
