KPK summons Head of Navigation District Type A Class II Tanjung Emas as witness
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned Ison Hendrasto (IH), Head of the Type A Class II Tanjung Emas Navigation District, as a witness in the alleged bribery case involving dredging projects for shipping lanes at four ports.
“The examination is taking place at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building, for IH as the Head of the Type A Class II Tanjung Emas Navigation District,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Tuesday.
In addition, Budi stated that the KPK has also summoned a lecturer from the Jakarta College of Maritime Sciences with initials IAT as a witness in the same case.
Previously, on 27 June 2024, the KPK announced that it had initiated an investigation into the alleged corruption case regarding dredging projects for shipping lanes at four ports, and subsequently designated nine individuals as suspects in the matter.
The alleged criminal corruption case pertains to the following work packages:
Dredging work package for the shipping lane at Tanjung Emas Port, Central Java, for fiscal years 2015, 2016, and 2017,
Dredging work package for the shipping lane at Samarinda Port, East Kalimantan, for fiscal years 2015 and 2016,
Dredging work package for the shipping lane at Benoa Port, Bali, for fiscal years 2014, 2015, and 2016,
Dredging work package for the shipping lane at Pulang Pisau Port, South Kalimantan, for fiscal years 2013 and 2016.
