KPK Summons Head of Central Java DPRD Commission A in Pemalang Regent Extortion Case
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned Imam Teguh Purnomo, head of Commission A of the Central Java Regional Legislative Council (DPRD), in connection with the extortion case that has ensnared suspended Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro. Imam will be questioned as a witness.
“A witness in the alleged corruption offence related to extortion within the Pemalang Regency Administration in 2025-2026,” KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo told reporters on Tuesday (8/9/2026).
In addition to Imam, investigators have also summoned a witness named Tisna Amijaya, an official of Golkar’s Central Java regional leadership council, along with five other witnesses. Budi has not yet explained what investigators will probe with the witnesses.
“The questioning is being conducted at Semarang Metropolitan Police Headquarters,” Budi said.
The summoned witnesses are as follows:
Resqi Meiriasari Sugiharti, civil servant at the Agriculture Office
Imam Teguh Purnomo, head of Central Java DPRD Commission A
Tisna Amijaya, official of Golkar’s Central Java regional leadership council
Daffa Noor Ubaydillah, private individual
Prasetyo Widyatmoko, Pemalang district head
Wiji Mulyati, head of the Pemalang Health Office
Endro Johan Kusuma, Assistant II to the Pemalang Regional Secretary
Previously, the KPK questioned Irfandy Ajidharma, a member of Anom Widiyantoro’s campaign team in the 2024 regional election. The KPK is probing Irfandy’s testimony regarding the alleged use of money extorted from Regent Anom for his campaign team, which was named the “media house team”.
“Regarding the media house team, investigators are also probing its relationship with the regent — what it was like, and whether there was also a flow of money from the regent to the media house,” Budi Prasetyo told reporters at the KPK’s Red-and-White building in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Monday (7/9).
KPK investigators also questioned private witnesses named Tri Budi Ambarsari and Rizky Slamet Apriadi regarding the flow of money obtained by Anom. As for Ambarsari, Budi said she was the woman who was secured alongside Anom during the sting operation (OTT) in Jakarta.
“Ms TBA, who was also secured in the sting operation together with the regent in Jakarta. Investigators are probing what her relationship was, and whether there was also a flow of money from the regent to Ms TBA,” he said.
In this case, the KPK has named four individuals as suspects. They are:
Anom Widiyantoro (AWI), as Pemalang Regent
Mohamad Haris (GHA), as a private individual and confidant of the regent
Lilik Budi Suprianto (LBS), as a private individual
Police Inspector Second Class Setya Budi Dias Oktavianto (DIS), as a KPK administrative officer
Acting KPK Director of Investigation Achmad Taufik Husein suspects that Anom carried out extortion through his confidant, Mohammad Haris, also known as Gus Haris (GHA). The total amount collected was Rp 1.98 billion.
Part of the money collected was given to Lilik, who is Setya Budi’s father. Lilik admitted he was able to broker cases at the KPK because his son worked as a KPK staff member.
