KPK Summons Former Racer Zahir Ali Again in Rorotan Land Corruption Case
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has again summoned businessman and former racer, Zahir Ali. The KPK summoned Zahir for questioning regarding land procurement in Rorotan, North Jakarta. “Today, Wednesday (10/6), the KPK has scheduled the examination of witnesses in the alleged criminal act of corruption related to land procurement in Rorotan for the 2019-2020 period,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in a written statement on Wednesday (10/6/2026). Budi explained that the summons for Zahir Ali today was in his capacity as President Director of PT Citratama Inti Persada. The KPK summoned a total of 5 witnesses today, namely: 1. Muhammad Fadhi Bauzir - Private sector, 2. Muas Saptono - Private sector, 3. Darto Bambang Abujasin - Business Manager Kalma Group, 4. Purnama Sari alias Pingping - Finance Manager PT Citratama Inti Persada and Kalma Group since 2018, 5. Zahir Ali - President Director of PT Citratama Inti Persada. He did not detail the matters to be explored by investigators. “The examination is being conducted at the KPK’s Merah Putih building,” he stated. Zahir Ali was previously named a suspect in this case. However, he escaped the KPK’s suspect status after fighting back through a pretrial motion at the South Jakarta District Court in April 2025. Subsequently, the KPK again summoned Zahir Ali for examination in this case. The KPK summoned Zahir Ali on Tuesday, 3 June 2025. This case is an extension of the land procurement case in Pulo Gebang, Cakung, East Jakarta, which ensnared former President Director of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, Yoory Corneles Pinontoan, and others. Yoory Corneles Pinontoan was sentenced to 5 years in prison and a fine of Rp 300 million. The judge declared Yoory guilty in the alleged corruption case of land procurement for the Rp 0 down payment housing project in Pulo Gebang, East Jakarta. Yoory was also sentenced to pay restitution of Rp 1,742,290,000 (Rp 1.7 billion), with a subsidiary of 1.5 years of confinement.
