KPK Summons DPRD Members from Bangkalan-Pamekasan in Connection with East Java Grant Funds Case
Today, Monday (11/5), the KPK has scheduled examinations of witnesses related to allegations of corruption in the management of grant funds for community groups (pokmas) from the East Java Provincial Budget for the 2021-2022 fiscal years,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters on Monday (11/5/2026). The two individuals are DPRD member from Bangkalan Regency, Rokib (RKB); and from Pamekasan Regency, Munaji (MNJ). The other three are private parties, namely Arifin, Mahrudi, and Ahmad Mukit. “RKB is a member of the Bangkalan Regency DPRD, and MNJ is a member of the Pamekasan Regency DPRD,” he stated. In this case, the KPK has already named 21 suspects in the management of grant funds for community groups from the East Java Provincial Budget for 2019-2022. The naming of these suspects is a development from the case that has ensnared former Deputy Chairman of the East Java DPRD, Sahat Tua Simanjuntak. Four recipient suspects are state officials. Meanwhile, of the 17 giver suspects, 15 are private parties and the other two are state officials.
