KPK summons Central Java DPRD member Harun Abdul Khafizh as witness

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned Central Java Provincial DPRD member Harun Abdul Khafizh (HAK) and former Central Java DPRD member Iqbal Wibisono (IW) for questioning as witnesses in an alleged extortion case involving inactive Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro.

“The KPK has scheduled examinations at the Semarang City Police Headquarters, Central Java, for HAK as a Central Java DPRD member and IW as a former Central Java DPRD member,” KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo told journalists in Jakarta on Tuesday.

In addition, Budi said the KPK summoned two aides to the Pemalang Regent with the initials AM and MAZ, as well as four civil servants within the Pemalang Regency Government with the initials SK, AM, TSS, and WS for questioning as witnesses in the case.

On 30 July 2026, the KPK announced the results of the sting operation and stated that there were two clusters in the case.

First, the alleged extortion by Anom Widiyantoro against Pemalang Regency Government officials and private parties. In this cluster, the suspects are Anom Widiyantoro and his confidant, Mohamad Haris, also known as Gus Haris.

Second, the alleged extortion by a police officer and his father against Anom Widiyantoro. The suspects in this cluster are Setya Budi Dias, a police officer serving at the KPK, along with his father, Lilik Budi Suprianto.
