The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled an examination of Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Member V, Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi, this week. Bobby will be questioned as a witness in a suspected bribery case related to BPK findings on several procurements within the Muara Enim Regency Government, South Sumatra Province. “It is indeed scheduled for this week by investigators,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the Merah Putih Building, Jakarta, on Wednesday evening (15/7). The KPK believes Bobby will be cooperative in complying with the investigators’ summons. Budi stressed that Bobby’s testimony is important to shed light on the alleged corruption case currently under investigation. “We believe that Mr BB [Bobby Rizaldi], when summoned by investigators, will be cooperative, will attend, and will provide the testimony needed by investigators,” he said. “Because, of course, every testimony from a witness helps the investigation process, so that this testimony can reveal the case being handled as clearly as possible,” he continued. Previously, on 13 and 14 July, the KPK searched Bobby’s residence in Cipete, South Jakarta. Investigators seized Electronic Evidence (BBE) suspected to be related to the case. Budi stated that investigators will confirm the evidence, including Bobby’s relationship with one of the detained suspects, Augusz Dewangga alias Angga. “Whether Mr AG [Angga] is a representative of Mr BB [Bobby Rizaldi] who is internal to the BPK, this is what we are still investigating, whether Mr AG’s position at the BPK is as a representative of a certain party,” he said. “We are also still tracing how the person concerned could gain entry and have close access to the audit processes at the BPK,” he continued. Previously, the KPK had searched the BPK office in South Sumatra. Several items of evidence were seized, including audit working paper documents, documents on changes from Qualified Opinion (WDP) findings to Unqualified Opinion (WTP) specifically for the Muara Enim Regency Government, documents related to efforts to make further changes after the KPK’s hand-arrest operation, and indications of alleged intervention from the Central BPK to alter the findings. The KPK has named five individuals as suspects and detained them at the State Detention Centre (Rutan). Three are suspected of being the bribe givers: Muara Enim Regent for the 2025-2030 period, Edison, and parties from PT Millenium Solusi Abadi (MSA), namely Cory Erin Hardi and Fika. The other two are suspected of being the bribe recipients: BPK civil servant and technical controller Titin Rita Lestari, and private party Augusz Dewanggara alias Angga.
