The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled a summons for member V of the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK), Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi. He will be questioned as a witness in the alleged bribery case that has ensnared the non-active Regent of Muara Enim, Edison. “Yes, it is scheduled for this week by the investigators,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building in South Jakarta on Wednesday (15/7/2026).

Budi explained that the summons is also intended to clarify the KPK’s recent search of Bobby’s residence. “So that his statements can explain the contents of the seized evidence,” he stated. He added that investigators are currently probing the relationship between Bobby and a suspect named Angga, who is already in detention. Angga is alleged to have had the access to engineer the audit process at BPK. “We are investigating how this individual, AG, could have the access and authority to consolidate and set up the audit processes conducted by BPK in a region, in this case Muara Enim Regency,” Budi said.

Budi urged all witnesses summoned by the KPK to provide honest testimony, stating that complete information would help clarify the case. The KPK had previously searched Bobby’s residence in Jakarta, seizing several electronic items for further analysis to complete the case file. The case originated from a sting operation on 8 June that caught Regent Edison, who was later named a suspect along with three others for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rp 500 million from a private company related to a smart board procurement project. The investigation expanded, leading to a second sting operation targeting five BPK officials, with allegations that the regent paid Rp 1.6 billion to alter audit results.
