KPK summons Adaro Wamco Prima director in KPP Banjarmasin case
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned EER, the Finance Director of PT Adaro Wamco Prima and PT Drupadi Tirta Intan, as a witness in the alleged corruption case concerning tax restitution applications at the Mid-Level Tax Service Office in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. “The examination is taking place at the KPK’s Red and White Building for EER, the Finance Director of PT Adaro Wamco Prima and PT Drupadi Tirta Intan,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Wednesday. Additionally, Budi stated that the KPK has summoned FMY, an employee of the Sahabat Citra Valas Semarang Money Changer, as a witness in the same case. On the same date, the KPK arrested Mulyono, the Head of the Banjarmasin Mid-Level Tax Office, a civil servant (ASN), and one private individual in a raid related to the VAT restitution process in the palm oil plantation sector. On 5 February 2026, the KPK named Mulyono (MLY), tax employee at the Banjarmasin Mid-Level Tax Office Dian Jaya Demega (DJD), and Financial Manager of PT Buana Karya Bhakti Venasius Jenarus Genggor (VNZ) as suspects in the alleged corruption case related to tax restitution applications. According to the KPK, the company applied for VAT restitution for the 2024 tax year with an overpayment status. The Banjarmasin Mid-Level Tax Office found an overpayment value of Rp49.47 billion, and with fiscal corrections of Rp1.14 billion, the tax restitution amounted to Rp48.3 billion.
