KPK Summons Acting Pati Regent Risma and DPRD Chairman Ali Badrudin

Jakarta (ANTARA) — The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned Acting Pati Regent Risma Ardhi Chandra (RSM) and Pati Regency DPRD Chairman Ali Badrudin (ALB) as witnesses in an alleged extortion case involving suspended Pati Regent Sudewo (SDW).

“The examinations are being held at Semarang Metropolitan Police headquarters in Central Java, for RSM in his capacity as Acting Pati Regent, and ALB as Pati DPRD Chairman,” KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo told journalists in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Budi added that the KPK has summoned ten further witnesses to assist with the investigation.

They include RYS, a former Acting Regional Secretary (Pj. Sekda) of Pati who currently serves as Head of the Pati Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency; SUP, Chairman of the Pati General Elections Commission; SGY, Head of the Pati Communications and Information Agency; and TGH, Acting Regional Secretary of Pati.

Further witnesses are SHD, Head of Baleadi Village; IMS, Head of Gadu Village; and SBP, Chairman of the Artha Bahana Syariah Savings, Loans and Sharia Financing Cooperative (KSPPS).

According to information gathered, the witnesses include Pati Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency Head Riyoso (RYS), Pati General Elections Commission Chairman Supriyanto (SUP), Pati Communications and Information Agency Head Sugiyono (SGY), Acting Pati Regional Secretary Teguh Widyatmoko (TGH), and Pati Village Administration Agency Head Tri Hariyama (TRH).

Previously, on 19 January 2026, the KPK confirmed it had conducted a sting operation (OTT) in Pati Regency, arresting Pati Regent Sudewo.

On 20 January 2026, the KPK brought Sudewo along with seven others to the KPK’s Red and White Building in Jakarta.

On the same date, the KPK announced four suspects in an alleged corruption case involving extortion in the appointment of village officials within the Pati Regency Government.

The suspects are Pati Regent Sudewo (SDW); Head of Karangrowo Village, Jakenan District, Abdul Suyono (YON); Head of Arumanis Village, Jaken District, Sumarjiono (JION); and Head of Sukorukun Village, Jaken District, Karjan (JAN).

Additionally, the KPK named Sudewo as a suspect in an alleged bribery case related to the construction and maintenance of railway lines under the Directorate General of Railways at the Ministry of Transportation.
