KPK Summons 6 Department Heads and 1 Agency Head in Cilacap THR Case

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned six department heads and one agency head as witnesses in the suspected extortion case concerning holiday allowances (THR) for the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) of Cilacap Regency, which involves non-active Regent Syamsul Auliya Rachman. “The examination of the seven witnesses took place at the Cilacap Police Resort in Central Java,” stated KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Tuesday. Budi further explained that the witnesses are AF, Head of the Population and Civil Registration Office (Dukcapil) of Cilacap; APH, Head of the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) of Cilacap; AN, Head of the Environment Office (Dinas LH) of Cilacap; and BHO, Head of the Communication and Informatics Office (Diskominfo) of Cilacap. Based on gathered information, the witnesses include Annisa Fabriana (AF), the current Acting Daily Executor of the Cilacap Regional Secretariat; Arida Puji Hastuti (APH), Head of DPMPTSP Cilacap; Achmad Nurlaeli (AN), Head of Dinas LH Cilacap; Buddy Haryanto (BHO), Head of Diskominfo Cilacap; Budi Narimo (BN), Head of the Tourism, Youth, and Sports Office (Disparpora) of Cilacap; Moch. Ichlas Riyanto (MIR), Head of the Social Services, Women’s Empowerment, Child Protection, and Family Planning Office (Dinsospppa) of Cilacap; and Bayu Prahara (BH), Head of the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Cilacap. Previously, on 13 March 2026, the KPK announced its ninth sting operation of 2026, the third during Ramadan. The operation resulted in the arrest of Cilacap Regent Syamsul Auliya Rachman and 26 others, along with the seizure of cash in rupiah. Syamsul Auliya targeted Rp750 million from the extortion, with Rp515 million allocated for THR for the Forkopimda of Cilacap Regency and the remainder for personal interests. However, he had only obtained Rp610 million before being apprehended by the KPK.
