KPK Summons 55 Outsourcing Employees as Witnesses in Case Against Regent Fadia Arafiq
The corruption case involving procurement that ensnares Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq continues to be investigated. The KPK investigative team today summoned 55 witnesses from outsourcing personnel in Pekalongan.
“Today, Thursday (22/4), the KPK has scheduled examinations of witnesses in the alleged criminal act of corruption involving conflicts of interest in the procurement of goods and services within the Pekalongan Regency Government (Pemkab),” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters on Thursday (23/4/2026).
The examinations are being conducted at the Pekalongan City Police Resort. The summoned outsourcing employees come from the Pekalongan Regency Transportation Department, the Pekalongan Regency Civil Service Police Unit, and up to the Pekalongan Regency Education and Culture Department.
The KPK investigative team is also summoning several outsourcing employees from the Pekalongan Regency Communication and Informatics Department as well as the Pekalongan Regency Youth, Sports, and Tourism Department. In addition, outsourcing employees from the Pekalongan Regency Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Labour Department; the Pekalongan Regency Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Department; the Pekalongan Regency Industry and Trade Department; and the Pekalongan Regency People’s Housing and Settlement Areas as well as the Environment Department, are also among the witnesses summoned by the KPK today.
The KPK is also summoning witnesses who are outsourcing employees from the Pekalongan Regency Regional Secretariat, the Pekalongan Regency Social Department, Kraton Pekalongan Regional General Hospital, and up to Kajen Pekalongan Regional General Hospital.
Regent Fadia as Suspect
In this case, the KPK has seized vehicles from several parties at the inactive Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq’s official residence up to Cibubur. The details are a Wuling Air EV, Mitsubishi Xpander, Toyota Camry, Toyota Fortuner, and Toyota Vellfire.
The KPK states that Fadia’s child and husband established a company named PT Raja Nusantara Berjaya. Fadia is suspected of being the beneficial owner (BO) of the company.
Here is the breakdown of the money received by Fadia and her family:
Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq: Rp 5.5 billion
Fadia’s husband, Ashraff: Rp 1.1 billion
Director of PT RNB Rul Bayatun: Rp 2.3 billion
Fadia’s child, Sabiq: Rp 4.6 billion
Fadia’s child, Mehnaz Na: Rp 2.5 billion
And cash withdrawals of Rp 3 billion.
The KPK states that PT RNB obtained outsourcing projects in 17 regional apparatus, 3 regional hospitals, and 1 sub-district in 2025. Fadia is charged under Article 12 letter i and Article 12 B of the Corruption Eradication Law in conjunction with Article 127 paragraph (1) of Law Number 1 of 2023 on the Criminal Code.
