KPK Sting Operation at Bogor Regency Land Office Over Alleged HGB Processing Bribery

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has conducted a sting operation (OTT) at the National Land Agency (BPN) in Bogor Regency. This operation is related to alleged bribery in the administration of Building Use Rights (HGB).

“This caught-in-the-act event is suspected to be related to the HGB processing in the Bogor Regency area, as well as involving allegations of other forms of receiving [illegal] funds,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK Building, South Jakarta, on Monday (14/09/2026).

Budi stated that the HGB administration in question took place in the Bogor Regency area. One of the parties involved is a private company operating in the property sector.

“In the Bogor Regency area, the party involved is Summarecon. We will provide further details later regarding the specific individuals detained during this sting operation,” Biddie said.

A total of 17 people have been detained by the KPK. Among those caught include the Director General of Land and Spatial Control and Enforcement (PPTR), Lampri; the Head of the Bogor Land Office, Sontang Coin Manurung; and the Head of the Tangerang Land Office, Tardi.

“Among them are a Director General within the Ministry of ATR/BPN, the Head of the Land Office in Bogor Regency, the Head of the Land Office in Tangerang, and several other parties,” Budi explained.

Budi mentioned that the commission will still conduct an exposure or case review. Currently, those detained in the sting operation are still being held as witnesses for questioning.

“Therefore, this is still in the investigation stage, which will then be followed by a case review to determine whether criminal offences are found, which will then decide whether the case proceeds to the investigation stage or otherwise,” he said.
