KPK States Summarecon Side Had Previously Provided Rp300 Million Before ATR/BPN Sting Operation
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has stated that PT Summarecon Agung Tbk had previously provided funds amounting to Rp300 million to parties within the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) before a sting operation (OTT) took place within the ministry’s environment.
“It is alleged that around March, a sum of Rp300 million was given,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK Merah Putih Building, Jakarta, on Wednesday.
Budi stated that the KPK suspects the Rp300 million was provided for the processing of building rights (HGB) for several plots of land managed by Summarecon.
Consequently, he noted that the Rp1.5 billion payment by the Summarecon side to officials within the Ministry of ATR/BPN was not the first instance.
“We need to convey that regarding the alleged bribery committed by Summarecon to certain individuals within the Ministry of ATR/BPN, this is suspected not to be the first such gift,” he said.
Previously, the KPK conducted a sting operation in the Jabodetabek area on 14 September 2026. The operation was related to alleged corruption in the processing of building rights (HGB) for PT Summarecon Agung Tbk in Bogor Regency, West Java.
A day later, the KPK named eight individuals as suspects in the alleged bribery case within the Ministry of ATR/BPN. These include the Director General of Land and Spatial Control and Order at the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Lampri; the Head of the Bogor Regency Land Office I, Sontang Coin Manurung; the President Director of PT Summarecon Agung Tbk, Adrianto Pitojo Adhi; and Rizal Pahlevi, acting as a private party or intermediary for Summarecon.
Other suspects include the former Regent of Kebumen, Arif Sugiyanto; the Chairman of the Golkar Party DPP, Fahd El Fouz, also known as Fahd Arafiq; and private individuals named Erwin and Muhammad Fakhry. The latter four are alleged to be trusted associates of the Minister of ATR/BPN, Nusron Wahid.
