The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has once again seized assets suspected to be the proceeds of corruption held by a member of the Bengkulu City Regional Legislative Council (DPRD), Vinna Ledy Anggraheni (VLA).

This time, the asset seized by the KPK is an apartment in Tebet, South Jakarta. The asset was allegedly a gift from the same individual, a businessman named Eno Bowo Susilo (EBS).

“Today, investigators have once again carried out the seizure of one apartment unit from Ms VLA, where the apartment is suspected to be a gift from Mr EBS, acting as a private party,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the Merah Putih Building, Jakarta, on Tuesday (29/9) evening.

“This apartment is located in the Tebet area, South Jakarta, and is registered under the name of Ms VLA,” he added.

Budi added that investigators will further investigate the nature of this gift in relation to the ongoing case.

“The technicalities of the gift will certainly be investigated. Furthermore, the purpose and intention behind the gifts made by Mr EBS to Ms VLA in her capacity as a member of the Bengkulu City DPRD will be scrutinised,” he said.

Prior to this, the KPK had already seized four cars from Vinna’s possession.

The seizure is related to the development of an alleged corruption case involving bribes for illegal forestry permits (ijon) in Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province, for the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year. The Regent of Rejang Lebong, Muhammad Fikri Thobari, is one of the suspects.

A private party involved in the Rejang Lebong Regency case is also suspected of involvement in bribery within the Bengkulu City Government.

The KPK has conducted a series of searches to find evidence. The residence of the Head of the Bengkulu City Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (PUPR) was among the locations searched.

From there, investigators found and seized cash amounting to Rp4 billion.

In handling this alleged corruption case in Bengkulu City, the KPK is using a general Investigation Order (Sprindik). Suspects will be sought and formally designated as the process continues.
