KPK Seizes Three Minimarkets, a Salon, and a House Belonging to Fadia Arafiq in Semarang

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has seized a number of assets from inactive Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq (FAR), including a house in Semarang. “Investigators also seized one of FAR’s houses located in the Semarang area,” KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo told reporters on Thursday (18/6/2026). Additionally, on Monday (15/6) and Tuesday (16/6), the KPK placed seizure signs on three franchise stores owned by Fadia. The KPK has requested that relevant parties not damage the seizure placards. “Investigators also placed seizure signs or placards at several points that had been previously seized, including three franchise retail stores and a salon,” he stated. In connection with this case, the KPK on Wednesday (17/6) also examined a number of witnesses, including Pekalongan Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) Deputy Speaker Ruben Prabu Faza (RPF). The KPK is investigating the purchase of a one-hectare plot of land by Fadia. “The investigators’ examination of the witnesses focused on the purchase of assets by the regent in the Pekalongan area. There are several plots of land at various locations that were purchased by the regent during her tenure, with a total area reaching approximately 10,000 square metres,” he said. The witnesses examined included Emma Margyati, staff of the Golkar Party Regional Board for Pekalongan Regency; Dewi Septriana K, Head of Administration Subdivision for Leadership, Expert Staff and Personnel; Ruben R Prabu Faza, Deputy Speaker of the Pekalongan Regency DPRD; Widhi Astri Aorilia Nia, Head of the Pekalongan Regency Workers Social Security Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan); Sri Mugirahayu, Head of the Pekalongan Regency Health Social Security Agency (BPJS Kesehatan); and several private employees and self-employed individuals. In this case, the KPK suspects Fadia ordered regional apparatus to ensure her company won the procurement tender for outsourcing services. Fadia’s family company allegedly received Rp 46 billion from 2023 to 2026, which was then distributed. The breakdown includes Rp 5.5 billion for Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq, Rp 1.1 billion for her husband Ashraff, Rp 2.3 billion for PT RNB Director Rul Bayatun, Rp 4.6 billion for her child Sabiq, Rp 2.5 billion for her child Mehnaz Na, and a cash withdrawal of Rp 3 billion. Fadia has now been named a suspect and detained by the KPK. She is charged under Article 12 letter i and Article 12 B of the Corruption Eradication Law in conjunction with Article 127 paragraph (1) of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code. The KPK has also seized vehicles from several parties at Fadia Arafiq’s official residence and in Cibubur, including a Wuling Air EV, a Mitsubishi Xpander, a Toyota Camry, a Toyota Fortuner, and a Toyota Vellfire.
