Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has so far seized six items from Faizal Assegaf, the President Director of PT Sinkos Multimedia Mandiri, in connection with the alleged corruption case within the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of the Ministry of Finance.

“As far as I recall, there are six items (goods) that were seized from the individual,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK’s Red and White Building in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Budi further explained that one of the items seized from Faizal Assegaf by the KPK was an electronic item.

“There are several electronic devices,” he said.

Nevertheless, he stated that the KPK could not yet provide details on the matter.

Meanwhile, he explained that the seizure of these items was carried out by the KPK because investigators from the anti-corruption agency had strong arguments, particularly related to the investigation of the Customs case.

“It should be underlined during the examination that the individual has admitted to the investigators, after which the seizure of those items was carried out,” he said.

On 26 February 2026, the KPK announced Budiman Bayu Prasojo (BBP), Head of the Excise Intelligence Section of the Directorate of Enforcement and Investigation of Customs, as a new suspect in the case.

On 27 February 2026, the KPK announced that it was delving into alleged corruption in excise management.
