KPK Seizes Several Documents from Two-Day Search in Madiun
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) seized several documents during a search of the home of the Head of the Communications and Informatics Department of Madiun City, Noor Aflah, on Monday, 6 April 2026.
In addition, the KPK seized documents during searches of the homes of two private individuals on Tuesday, 7 April 2026.
“During those searches, investigators secured several pieces of electronic evidence and documents believed to be related to the case, namely alleged extortion using the modus operandi of project fees (remuneration), CSR funds, and other receipts or gratuities within the Madiun City Government, East Java,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo on Wednesday (8/4/2026).
On the same date, the KPK revealed a sting operation against Maidi related to project remuneration and corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds in Madiun City.
On 20 January 2026, the KPK announced that three individuals had been named as suspects following the sting operation: Madiun Mayor Maidi (MD), Maidi’s trusted aide Rochim Ruhdiyanto (RR), and Head of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Madiun City Thariq Megah (TM).
First, alleged extortion with suspects Maidi and Rochim Ruhdiyanto.
Second, alleged gratuity with suspects Maidi and Thariq Megah.
