KPK Seizes Several Documents During Search of Ono Surono's House in Indramayu
The KPK has searched the home of PDIP politician Ono Surono (ONS) in Indramayu, West Java. The KPK seized documents and electronic evidence during the search.
“In the search, the investigators secured several documents and also electronic evidence,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK building in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Monday (6/4/2026).
The seized items will later be confirmed with the parties to be examined. This includes Ono himself, who remains a potential examinee by the KPK in this case following the search.
“This includes the possibility of scheduling an examination for Mr ONS to explain the investigators’ findings,” he stated.
The search of Ono’s house in Indramayu took place on Thursday (2/4). The location in Indramayu is a continuation of the KPK’s previous search at Ono’s house in Bandung, West Java, on Wednesday (1/4).
During the search in Bandung, the KPK seized documents and electronic evidence. The KPK also secured cash amounting to hundreds of millions of rupiah from Ono’s house in Bandung.
Ono has previously been examined by the KPK regarding this case. The KPK suspects Ono received funds from Sarjan, who has been named a suspect in this case.
“Yes, among other things (related to allegations of money received by Ono from Sarjan),” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters at the KPK building in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (1/4).
This search is related to a bribery case for advance payments on a project that ensnares the inactive Bekasi Regent Ade Kuswara Kunang (ADK). In this case, the KPK has named three individuals as suspects, namely:
Bekasi Regent Ade Kuswara Kunang
Ade Kuswara’s father, HM Kunang
Private party, Sarjan
Ade and HM Kunang are suspected of receiving advance project money amounting to Rp 9.5 billion. KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution, Asep Guntur Rahayu, stated that the project was planned to be carried out in 2026. The money is said to be an advance for project guarantees.
