KPK Seizes Second Wife's Pajero in Kuansing Bribery Case

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has seized a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Dakar from Suci Nitia Edwar, the second wife of the suspended Kuantan Singingi Regent, Suhardiman Amby. KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that the vehicle was confiscated on Monday while it was being transported by car carrier from Riau to Jakarta. The seizure is part of an investigation into a bribery case related to the buying and selling of positions within the Kuantan Singingi district government during the 2021–2026 period. The KPK had previously conducted a sting operation on 29 June 2026, detaining ten individuals. Suhardiman and the Regional Secretary later surrendered to the commission. In addition to the bribery allegations, the KPK suspects Suhardiman of receiving gratuities related to the release of limited production forest areas.
